Yes, I know. My brother rented one actually. But... nobody stopped standing. They sat down for the songs that they didn't know, and I knew all of the songs, so I kind of looked like the obsessive one in my group. Which I was. |

I was so depressed on Monday. The Rush show was over, my meeting with the TRF people was over... but I got over it. That was such a fun show. |

I've attempted this on several occasions, and I always give up. Signals Permanent Waves Moving Pictures Grace Under Pressure 2112 Hemispheres A Farewell To Kings Hold Your Fire Snakes & Arrows Caress Of Steel Power Windows Fly By Night Rush Presto Roll The Bones Counterparts Test For Echo Vapor Trails R30 Grace Under Pressure Tour Soundtrack Different Stages A Show Of Hands All The World's A Stage Exit... Stage Left Rush In Rio The red albums were listened to less than the blue albums, so it wouldn't be fair for me to say that they are the worst. The black albums are live. |

Two more months from today. Ugh. Oh, and grab Signals, if you don't already have it. Prindle approves of it! |

THE JANITOR
|
Signals has always been my favorite Rush album. My memory is a bit foggy but "Countdown" was the first release from the album that I really took notice of but perhaps mostly in part because of my great interest in the space shuttle program in the 1980's. Certainly "New World Man" was receiving radio air-play as well but when "Countdown" was awarded radio rotation, I went out and bought the album and later a 12 inch single "Countdown"/"Spirit Of Radio" live. Only some three years ago, I broke down and bought a disc copy of the album to replace my worn vinyl. I consider it their most complete album because it truly is one that I can listen to anytime and very much enjoy every song and want to hear the entire thing right away. That is the tour I wish I could have seen and about ten years later, I was becoming less of Rush fan and buying less new material; relying on their past accomplishments. I only have two of their releases from the 90's and Feedback, the most recent. And like Jeorge. there are a few "not very good" Rush albums in my collection I favor the least and some really strong ones near the top. |

O NO U DIT INT 1. I just said that Rush is better than Pink Floyd, which is my opinion, of course. 2. Don't talk about "everything the group did" if you've never heard "everything the group did." 3. No album is infallable. |

Touche. Your response has countered me in a compromising position. However, the "Oh No U DID NT: part of the post for some reason made me fall off my fucking chair. |

But seriously, If I ever mention how a Rush album is inferior to another, they all say that nothing that Rush ever does can be bad. Ever. |
