Rush knows how to treat their fans, definately. We get spoiled by them. (But it's us that has to pay for all of this shit.)

Nice album, but Permanent Waves would be a better choice, music-wise and price-wise ($5.94). :guitar:

I've actually only heard one Rush album, and that's 2112. I don't remember it much, either

I was actually going to listen to it later today. After I do, I'll get back to you guys, and tell you what I think of it, when it's fresh on my mind

Like I said in my LiveJournal, Rush seem like one of those bands that no matter when the album was made, it'll be a good album. They have their "essential" ones, and the rest are really good, as well. Like Presto was a very strong album, and it seems like no matter what Rush album you buy, it'll be good.

Of course, I haven't heard any of their synth-driven albums yet...

Unfortunately. :guitar:

Signals and Grace Under Pressure are those must-hear-ASAP-albums. :cigar:
Geddy Lee would also be seen with a synth in the late 70s prog albums like A Farewell To Kings and Hemispheres. He did use it occasionally during many albums, though.

If you want, do some "research" to see what album you would like to hear next, and I'll "see what I can do". :dodido:

Tell me what type of Rush you want.

If you want the "Zeppelin-like Rush without Neil Peart" Rush, then I can send you the debut.

If you want the "Mainstream" Rush, I can send you Moving Pictures.

If you want the "Not really good Rush with a rap section in the title track" Rush, then I can send you Roll The Bones.

As you can see, the re are many types of Rush. :cigar:

Read up on the albums, and see what you'd want. Check out the reviews, then I'll come to the rescue. Consider it a "Sorry-that-you-got-banned-from-Shabby-Road-for-the-third-or-fourth-time" gift. :cigar:

Fifth time, actually. And their debut sounds good enough to me.

Ouch. Five times? Are you sure you don't want A Farewell To Kings or Permanent Waves instead, first? :dodido:

A Farewell To Kings, then. I don't want to get anything insanely essential yet. For some reason. :fear:

I see. You'll feel bad getting a Rush album that's awesome. You want to buy it, right? I'll have it for you sometime next week. Maybe Monday or Tuesday. Remind me if I forget.

I'm listening to 2112 right now. I want to make out with Alex Lifeson.
