What does everyone think of Presto? It's probably my third or fourth least favorite studio release. It's just such a boring and dull-sounding album. There's a few memorable tunes on it (Show Don't Tell, War Paint, Scars, Red Tide) but the rest is forgettable. Yes, even Available Light. I don't understand the appeal of that song besides the rare use of piano in a Rush song (already used in Second Nature on HYF).

Now 100% more avant-garde than Ivan!
I think Presto has some of Neil's best lyrics. It can sound a bit tepid at times, but it's a good album when I'm in the mood for it.

Oh, and I really, REALLY don't like Superconducter. It sounds so out of place.

SUPACONDUCTEUR! SUPACONDUCTEUR!

It sounds like a mid-nineties commercial for a supersoaker.

Yeah, Superconductor's annoying. Probably the worst track on the album.

It'd probably be in my top three worst Rush songs, along with Tears and Dog Years.

I like Second Nature and really like Tears. Tears reminds me of the summer of obsession. I think that song had the most plays on iTunes.
