I hope this topic doesn't fail. I thought this could be a pretty controversial topic: we can love a band but we can't say they were perfect, that's just impossible. SO what are your favourite bands or the bands you like that you just love, but you just can't help hating a small or big detail. For exemple: I love the Beatles they are one of my favourite bands BUT.... I hate the fact they allowed their faces to be put everywhere and became too commercial by the time of Beatlemania. I hate also the fact they did those christmas shows, that's not the attitude of a serious rock n roll band (at least they hated doing it but still...) |

I love Pink Floyd, but hell, they need to grow up and get over themselves and get back together. |

I second that I love Badfinger, but why did the 50% of the band have to commit suicide?! Now they can't get back together!

I love Led Zeppelin, but why did they bother releasing a studio album after Physical Grafitti and why did they have to plagiarise so openly with their riffs and lyrics. |

I love King Crimson but... ... No... No, I can't come up with anything. Well actually, I love King Crimson, but they have to stop being so brilliant. |

I love the Verve, but they only made 4 albums, 3 of which were Studio recorded, and only 1 has all their real famous songs. And they broke up after 3 years .

I love the Beatles, but it will be nearly impossible to collect all of their merchandise. I love Paul McCartney, but his tours never come within 150 miles from where I live, and tickets are too damn expensive. I love Ringo Starr, but his tours never come within 150 miles from where I live, and tickets are too damn expensive. |

Ground tickets where I went to see Ringo were only $45 and I walked and just seen what it would have been like and they wern't bad at all. As for being too far away, just move.

I can't move. Why? 1.) By myself, I'm too young. 2.) My parents don't have the time or money to move. 3.) Houses are way too freaking expensive. Most of them are around $600,000. 4.) We'd need to get rid of all of our stuff, furniture and everything, if we wanted to live in a house we could afford. The closest Ringo has ever gotten to where I live is Sacramento, California. That's 145.4 miles from where I live. Making a trip just to see him is not an option. Tickets are too expensive. You might have paid $45 for them, but chances are, if I wanted to buy tickets, I'd have to pay $150. |

Rare Cult 7 disc box set - $235 I love the band, but I cannot spend $200 on The Cult (unless hookers are involved) This is example is probably not what the topic's originator had in mind, though is it? |
