The strongest man... in the world!
I think Frank Zappa was predicting Tiger Woods when he wrote the second verse of "You Are What You Is":

A foolish young man
Of the Negro Persuasion
Devoted his life
To become a caucasian
He stopped eating pork
He stopped eating greens
He traded his dashiki
("Uhuru!")
For some Jordache Jeans
He learned to play golf
An' he got a good score
Now he says to himself
"I AIN'T NO NIGGER NO MORE . . . HEY! HEY! HEY!"

I think this is one of the only FZ songs that has a positive message (be yourself and you'll be happy).

I can imagine Tiger Woods singing that.

Hows about what John Said.

Women is the Nigger of the World.

How about something that isn't by a Beatle?

:nerd:

How about something that ISN'T FRANK ZAPPA OR FRANK ZAPPA RELATED COMING UP IN EVERY GOD DAMN THREAD.

GET. OVER. FRANK. ZAPPA.

This is an official challenge to EVERYONE on ASR to go a single day without:

1) Listening to Frank Zappa
2) Talking about Frank Zappa
3) Quoting Frank Zappa
4) Posting Pictures of Frank Zappa

Frank Zappa is like the Simpsons, though. They've done and said EVERYTHING imaginable.

That being said, I will try to keep my FZ-related posts to a minimum.

I haven't been able to get into a single Zappa album. There must be something wrong with me.

You like the Beatles, though, so it's all good. :)

Anyways. Back to topic...

What do you guys think should've been done to Don Imus? I heard that's he's back on the radio now. :(

I would just like to mention how much fun it is to say "negro please".

and as for ole Donnie boy, I see why people could make a big deal about it, but it didn't really bother me all that much. Just felt like he was one of those guys in their 50s saying "get jiggy wit it" Strange, sad, and amusing.

[edited for excessive e's in the word negro]

that could be fairly amusing depending on the situation.

I have one friend, who, whenever someone says faggot, calls the person who said faggot a nigger for awhile.
