The thing is, I'm mainly judging from the amount of Led Zeppelin I've heard, versus the amount of Cream I've heard. I wouldn't say those things about Page if I didn't see this one video, it looked like it was from the 80s, it's Led Zeppelin playing Heartbreaker. And I remember watching and thinking, "This is Jimmy Page?" It's terrible. But I suppose that was a misrepresentation of Led Zep and I'm comparing it (unfairly) to Cream's first Farwell Concert. So I really don't know who I'd side with if I had heard an equal amount of both bands and seen some awesome Led Zep concert.

I can see what you mean, the studio version of the solo for Heartbreaker is imo pretty rubbish as well. Just Jimmy sorta wanking around on the pentatonic/blues scale and playing some pretty sloppy stuff without any back up.

I think the video nirvangela is talking about is the Led Zeppelin "reunion" at the rock and roll hall of fame. Yes, it is TERRIBLE. The Live DVD however is tremendous

I say Led Zeppelin.

I agree, my mind has exploded.

I Don't Mind Other Guys Dancing With My Girl.
That's fine. I know them all pretty well.
But I know sometimes I must get out in the light.
Better leave her behind with the kids, they're alright.
The kids are alright.
