I think more of myself as a song and dance man.
I've got a feeling this might be a tough poll. Recently I just heard the entire Tommy album and I loved it all. But I still love The Wall too.

It's tough, so I'm not voting yet. I need to hear Tommy a few more times.

This is realllly hard to chose, these two are maybe two of the greatest rock operas ever written. I chose Tommy though, flip of a coin decision

I have trouble understanding Tommy more, but The Wall is freaky, but I'll have too got that one (The Wall).

A great sub poll would be which had a better all star live production?
The Wall Live that featured Bryan Adams, Scorpions and Jerry Hall or Tommy Live that featured Phil Collins, Steve Winwood and Billy Idol.
I admit that I rarely listen to the all star version of Roger Water's The Wall In Berlin and I have that old late '80's version of Tommy Live on VHS but I watch it about twice a year.

Tommy is an amazing rock opera...but the songs on The Wall...have so much deeper meaning then any of the songs on Tommy....and the vocals...the rawness in some of the songs sung...I vote YES for The Wall <3 XP

Hate me, do it and do it again.
Tommy. It's Pete Townshend's genius, it's a wicked story, it's got some great songs and it's easily one of the best stories made into an album, and my favorite.

I find The Wall to have some whiny lyrics from Waters, and not every song is insanly great. Plus the 'filler' on Tommy is a lot better than songs like "Vera" and "Is There Anybody Out There?"

The Wall. Tommy is a great piece of work, but the emotion that Roger put into the Wall, with his vocals, and the combination of the sound effects, harmonies, transitions, and everything just make the Wall a much more enjoyable experience. I might be biased though because it was my first Floyd album

Well Tommy has just as personal power and messages in it. It's just more subtle and in third person and stuff. First person always seems more powerful.

Tommy. I think The Who are better than Pink Floyd, and I also think Tommy is better than The Wall.

By far, this is the most difficult poll I've ever been confronted with. The Wall was one of the first albums that I encountered as an artistic creation as opposed to a collection of songs, yet Tommy seems to have a plotline that appeals to me more than The Wall's: It is slightly more bizaare, yet just as subtle. At the same time, The Wall included a variety of characters in it each symbolizing a certain aspect of Pink's deteriorating life, and I'm a very avid seeker of metaphorical storylines.

It's a toss-up, I suppose, but for now I'll go with Tommy. It's a more unified effort from the band than The Wall.
