i think i'll pick darkside, as it's the most recommended one so far, and i wouldn't like to 'start with', i want their best work and if i LOVE it then get (part of) the rest. which songs do you think i should download to get the --mmhhh--- orientation of the album?

Speak to Me-Breath, Time, Money and Brain Damage XP

and if you dig slow mellow songs then deffffinately US AND THEM <333

And regardless of what Ashlea may say! ROGER WATERS OWNS ALL!!! XP

Was that directed at me becasue I do and what is that meant to mean anyway?

Anyway, I say get it on vinyl. Its so much better and its such a headphone album, just lying down with some good head phones , and just really and truley relaxing to it....spacing out, listening to all the dimesions of that album...its truley worth it. Actually most Floyd is good in that cirumstance.

Roger does not own all! At least David has never spat on a fan.
...and somebody spoke and I went into a dream....

Hm, I just turned on Darkside like a minute ago, haha. My favorite track on the album is quickly becoming "Us and Them", so check that one out.

Actually I've been hearing it on the radio more and more. It and "Time" are very popular here, moreso than "Money" and "Brain Damage/Eclipse", the bigger hits off the album.

Time is really great, along with Money...but one morning last week I woke up to 'Us And Them' and it's been love ever since.

Indeed. It's a very dark album, but it's only an appetizer for the real darkness of The Final Cut. But The Wall is excellent.
