Ha, yea. He's someone who takes getting used to as a vocalist. For someone who had such a great tonal quality to his voice, it had a lot of raspiness in it. I love it though. His melodies are fantastic, and his singing style is all over the place. It really clicks with me; another example of someone who doesn't have to have a pretty voice to be a good singer.

I told you I will. (Doubt I'll like them more then Nirvana, but we'll see.) Which album of theirs should I get again?

LIFTED or The Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground and I'm Wide Awake It's Morning are the ones that show his indie side (the first) and his more clean side (the latter). They're both essential.
