NOOOOOO B!
I already have "Nevermind" and am blown away by it. Which album should I get next? "In Utero", "Bleach", or "Unplugged"?

Save your money and just enjoy "Nevernind". That is all the Nirvana you should need. Then move on to some other music.

He made the topic because he wants more Nirvana. I'd go with In Utero. Bleach is good too. Bleach doesn't have Dave Grohl on it, though.

What album should you get next? Get "Fantastic Planet" from Failure or "Girlfriend" from Matthew Sweet if you want some surprises and don't let anyone talk you into getting any more Nirvana albums. The Cult's "High Octane" or "Love" or any of The Replacement's albums would be good as well.

Indeed you are stabbed/ Stabbed a thousand times.

Don't be fooled the idiotic general pooulace of teen America who only likes Nirvana for "Smells Like Teen Spirit." They probably don't listne to anythign else by Nirvana, anyway. Yes, they're overrated, but they're quite good for a modern band.

Get In Utero. It has some of Nirvana's best songs on it.

I like the unplugged album, but I don't like them very much in general. But ya, get that. Although its pretty different compared to nevermind because, as the title suggests, its all acoustic
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others

Get Incestecide that's my favorite release by far. It's a b-sides collection.

In Utero. Beautiful songs on that one.
Broken down and hungry for your love
With no way to feed it
Where are you tonight?
Child, you know how much I need it.

Grohl is master.

I love In Utero. Heart Shaped box, Milk It, Serve the Servents, All Apologies, Dumb and Pennyroyal tea are jsut a few of the standouts. Dave Grohl's drumming makes this album for me....

Unplugged is great too but get In Utero next, then Incesticide with Anyrseum (one of their best songs...the dumming is so good) then bleach. Muddy Banks Of The Wishka is alright for a live album though its not as mellow as unplugged.
...and somebody spoke and I went into a dream....

It really depends on what you liked from Nevermind.

Nevermind is by far their most well-rounded and put together album, and it features the best song writing. It has the good variety, although you won't hear anything like you hear on Bleach on Nevermind.

I'd say that the closest thing to the Nevermind sound is Incesticide. It's got a bunch of B-sides and covers on it that are really pretty pop. It also features "(New Wave) Polly" which is just a faster, more up-beat version of "Polly" from Nevermind. Incesticide is just really a more light-hearted Nevermind.

Now, if you were looking to go harder and heavier, I'd recommend Bleach, Nirvana's debut album. It's got the pop ("About A Girl", "Love Buzz") yet the rest of the album is really heavy, hard, distorted, riff-driven rock. My only beef with that album though is that, like AC/DC, by the end of the album you feel like you've heard the same song 13 times. But it's my favorite Nirvana album nonetheless.

In Utero is, in my opinion, a weak attempt to go back to their roots. Although the songs sound good for the most part and the guitar is really inventive and unique, I just can't as into it as I can into Bleach and Nevermind. I will say that In Utero is the album with the most variety on it. It's got the really hard songs ("tourette's", "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter"), the typical Nirvana grunge stuff ("Rape Me", "Heart-Shaped Box") and the other depressing slower things ("Pennyroyal Tea", "All Apologies"). It's a good album all together.

I wouldn't say Incesticide because it lacks the depth of Nevermind. Bleach lacks the variety, From The Muddy Banks Of The Wishkah is more of a "for fans only" type thing, so I'd go with either Unplugged In New York or In Utero.

If you like vocals that make you want to stab out your ears, sure.
