Oh c'mon, Paul McCartney can't be winning this can he?

Sadly, people don't get as musically diverse as some.

Hmm....wait....no yeah, that doesn't make sense. Try again.
Isn't he a bit like you and me?

Here, how about this;

Paul McCartney's great, sure. Amazing even. But for god's sake, there's better bass players out there.

Maybe that'll help.

If that's your opinion, that's great, I'm happy for you. I suppose I was just a little mixed up by your senseless comment.

I just think it's humorous that you seem to congratulate yourself for your opinions, then suppose others aren't as "diverse" as you because their opinion differs.

But oh, nevermind, you cleared it all up for me...thanks...

I was joking when I sent you that PM. And he doesn;t think your opinion is wrong. I think he's just syaing that just because The Beatles are your fav band doesn;t mean everything they did/everyone in the band better then everything on this earth.

Betales are my fav too, but does that mean everytiem someone goes "Who's the best jump roper in the century" Im not gonan sya George Harrison jsut cause he's in The Beatles.

What he meant by diviersity i think is that The Betals aren;t the only band out there, m'k?

Yes, and I see that, I was hoping that everything would be taken as sarcasm rather than having my post seem defensive, but I suppose I couldn't pull it off. [Evil Sad]

Which is why this poll is called "Who's Your Favorite Bassist?". It's not "best".

My favorite bassist!? you mean besides myself? well i think i would have to go with Mark Hoppus. Although i have a big tie for second, between Mikey Way and Ben Jorgensen, although you probably have no idea who any of these people are. Oh ya my friend Matt is a really good bassist too, oh i almost forgot JR he's a great bassist from a local band, i knew him way before they were signed. They are pretty cool. So ya, i so can not choose my favorite bvassist, but if i would have to go for one, Mark Hoppus would win. Oh shit i forgot Mike Dirnt, god how could i forget him? He would probably be tied with Mark, his early bass lines are so amazing.

Oh, I didn't read that the question said "Which bassist is the best?", I could of swore it said "Who's Your Favorite Bassist". Oh well.

And I agree, why would anyone favor the bassist from The Beatles, I mean so he had his little thing with The Beatles, so what?
