Why Didn't Rosemary- Deep Purple. There was a kick ass guitar solo in that song. The whole feel of the song was out of control and I liked that. The singing didn't do it for me though. A solid rocker but not much more. 7.75/10

A National Acrobat- Black Sabbath. To tell you the truth, I don't really like Black Sabbath too much. I guess all the haphazard covers of Ironman by shitty garage bands has turned me off them. I just don't like the "feel" of their music. I found this song slowly paced, and I would have liked to hear move faster. I don't know. These could just be the prejudices against Black Sabbath speaking. The end solo was pretty cool I will admit. 7/10

I wanted to bring in a little more modern music to this topic, so I will post a song by Elliott Smith. The sonf is called Pictures of Me. Many have described him as a really depressed Beatle and the description is pretty fitting. He always said he was a huge Dylan/Beatle fan, unfortunatly he was so depressed he stabbed himself in the heart two times to commit suicide a couple years ago. Really sad day.

"Dreiedel"-Don McLean

Sorry I ahven't replied in a while. I haven't had time. More people should participate in this. The more the better.

So Driedle. I didn't hate it. Just mediocre, but not to bad.othing really stood out as exeptional, just a nice tune to hum along with. 7/10

So I don't know if you guys are Bob Dylan fans, but I am a huge one. So you may have ot get used to me posting his songs. I'll try to play lesser know Dylan songs to the mainstream.(ie Like A Rolling Stone, Mr. Tambourine man, and Blowin in the wind etc).

Here is "It's All Right Ma(I'm Only Bleeding)" Hope you can make it though the seven minutes of Dylan. Dylan is a fine cheese, he is an aquired taste. Hope you enjoy. (Sorry for the stupid analogy.)

Yeah. More people should paticipate. We should PM some people, and see if they like the idea, because apparently, people are too busy posting the song they're listening to at the moment - as if people care.

It's Alright Ma is pretty good. I've heard some Dylan, and you definately need some time to get used to. I liked his meaningful rhymes throughout the whole song. I liked it alot. Post more soon. 8.5/10

Here's yet another Queen song from their 1980 hit album The Game entitled "Don't Try Suicide".

I never thought there could be a more upbeat song about suicide. You know I was thinking about killing myself, but when I heard the lines, "Don't try suicide" I changed my mind. I mean if Queen doesn't want you to kill yourselve you shouldn't cause come'on, it's Queen. They rule. 8.5/10

OH and don't send some Psychiatrist on me, I don't really want to kill myself.

I KEED, I KEED!

Talking about Psychiatrists, the next Dylan song I will post is about a man going crazy, and i love it. This one is off the album "Highway 61 Revisted", definitely one of the best albums ever made. Rolling Stone Mag ranked it number two on there top 500 list of albums, even though Rolling Stone is typically full of douche bags, they got that album in the right place.

Here is is, Ballad of a Thin Man by Robert Zimmerman(Bob Dylan)

Bob Dylan- Ballad Of A Thin Man

Sorry to do two dylan in a row! But he does kick ass.

A while back I downloaded a crapload of Dylan albums. When I got Highway 61 Revisited, this song is the song that I liked immediately after listening. Thanks for reminding me of this gem. I think it's really good. 9/10

I'm trying not to download anymore, and I'm getting CDs now.

Here's another Queen song, because I don't have much music on my computer now, that's from their 1977 album News of the World called "Sleeping On The Sidewalk". Lead vocals: Brian May

To revive this thread, I'd like to bring it back with a bang. Here's a Red Hot Chili Peppers song called "I Could Have Lied" from their album Blood Sugar Sex Magik. It may not be outstanding, but I like it.

This was a cool song. I liked the lyrics (not fantastic btu still good), of course the vocals and Flea's bass playing was greta as usual. Guitar solo was pretty sweet as well. 8/10

This next song is by the underrated irish rock artist Van Morrison. He was popular back in the day but doesn't recieve much recognition now. This is one of ym fav songs by him.

Heh, what a forgetful fellow I am. o.o Ok, I'll post a different song now.

ELO, or Electric light Orchestra. This pop/prog rock group had much popularity throghout their career, with it's clever mix of catchy melodies, orchestral backup and diverse lyrics. Here's a lesser-known song by them.

Yes, it lives again! Free Muzak is up!

ELO-Telephone lines- Captures the style of ELO for sure with the orchestra backing to catchy pop tunes. And I admit, I like it a lot. Also,This song was in Billy Madison I think so that scores it some extra points.9/10

Here is one from the coolest Canadian...Neil Young. It is called Winterlong.
