Once Led Zeppelin disbanded, Jimmy kept busy appearing in several projects over the years. Which would be the one that you favor? I have seen him appearing with his bandmates in The Firm and also on his solo "Outrider" tour. |

I'm none too familiar with Pagey's solo stuff, but I'd probably have to say his contributions to "The Honeydrippers" are fantastic. You forgot to mention his (Brief) project with bassist Chris Squire and drummer Alan White from Yes, "XYZ" (Ex-Yes Zeppelin. Geddit? LAWL). |

Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes Live At The Greek. Most of disc one and "Nobody's Fault But Mine" should be heard by every Zeppelin fan, really. Not too bad o' stuff there at all. But Paul Rodgers with Jimmy in The Firm was like peanut butter and chocolate. Two fantastic albums from that group was not nearly enough. I am so glad that I had the chance to see them live in the middle nineteen-eighties. Jeff Beck with Page and other Yardbirds in the group Box Of Frogs and Plant, Page and Beck also doing well with Paul Scheaffer for The Honeydrippers. |

Hate me, do it and do it again.

Ha, I was just going to make a topic about Page. Did he ever sing anything in Zeppelin? I don't know any of his solo stuff but that shall change sometime. |

I know that Jimmy did do backing vocals as well for Zeppelin but no lead vocals. How could I have overlooked Page's guest appearance with the band Willie And The Poor Boys. He worked on one track with Paul Rodgers joining other legends like Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Andy Fairweather Low, Kenny Jones and Chris Rea for another A.R.M.S. charity release in 1985. Their version of "These Arms Of Mine" is even better than the original Otis Redding version. |

He did release a single before Led Zeppelin with him doing lead vocals called She Just Satisfies. It sounds alot like the kinks. You can probably find it on the internet somewhere. |

I have had a copy of Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends on vinyl for a long while and recently gave a listen again to the disc I recorded it to. Jimmy Page as well as John Bonham and Jeff Beck and others appear on the record and you can immediately hear the styles of the three in the songs they play on. Some of the stuff is not that great, truthfully but is interesting to listen to. This album was released in 1970 sometime so Jimmy and Johnny were still very active in Zeppelin. I just wanted to remark about this session work that Jimmy was also involved in. I am looking for another topic and came across this one. So here it iz. Who yo wit? Now listening to "Oh Sheila" - cannot remember who sings it. |
