Make your choice of songs from this list and tell us your favorites. You should be able to make four picks so get to it!

Crimson dress that clings so tight She's out of reach and out of sight

"Voodoo Chile" is the best thing he ever recorded, in my opinion. Forget the "Slight Return" and his singles. 15 minute blues jam with Steve Winwood, Jack Casady, and Mitch Mitchell? This is where it's at. It is mind-blowing, he solos like a demon. Not only that, but it goes on and on and on and when you think it's over, it's not. It's just amazing. Aaaaaaand it also has that guy who yells "TURN THAT DOWN, TURN THAT DOWN!" when Hendrix gets a little feedback-happy and the girl who confusingly says "Oh, the bar is closed?" at the end. W00t!

It's impossible to choose just four but I chose

The Wind Cries Mary (brilliant, one of my favs)
All Along the Watchtower (again, brilliant)
Purple Haze (classic and amazing)
Stone Free (the cow bell in this song blows my mind)

Of course I love Manic Depression, Are You Experienced?, Foxey Lady, Love or Confusion, etc. I love every Hendrix song.
Isn't he a bit like you and me?

Jealous Guy
Stone Free, Castles Made of Sand, Izabella, Crosstown Traffic.

END OF TRANSMISSION.

I loved Stone Free since I first heard it; Izabella and Castles Made of Sand are both mind boggingly mesmerizing, and Crosstown Traffic is just a great tune to dance to.

Shit, I forgot "Machine Gun". THAT'S probably Hendrix's finest hour. Band of Gypsys version, no less.

purple haze, manic depression, voodoo child slight return, and are you experienced

purple haze, you just can't beat that beginning BUH - BAH - BUH - BAH - BUH - BAH - BUH - BAH BUH NUH NAH NUH, BUH NUH NAH NUH

manic depression, possibly my favorite hendrix song, i like the kind of waltzy feel to it

voodoo child (slight return) is the song that i think completely sets jimi hendrix so far apart from any other guitar player

are you experienced, coolest lyrics ever
