Piper At The Gates of Dawn is pretty bad if you ask me.

Second time I've wanted to kill Mike over something music related.

It isn't that great. I just think people love that album because they like Syd or feel bad for Syd, and that is the only album he masterminded. So they subconsciously force themselves to love it because they like Syd. I listened to the album long before I formed opinions on any of them, and I wasn't impressed at all.

I think Syd's music was more interesting than Roger Waters being all pissed and sad and David Gilmour pretending he ruled the world. I don't really like Syd's solo albums, but something about Piper is really interesting, it's a glimpse at what Pink Floyd were before the Bassman took 'er over.

The Beatles weren't the best at everything they did. Their debut is good but not as essential as others.

:fear: HUUUUUUUHHHH!!! Blasphemy, Eric BAN THIS MUTHER FUCKA!!! "The Beatles weren't the best at everything they did." You did type that you know??

Not essential?? "Please Please Me", is what The Beatles are all about. It wasn't a "SMASH Hit" because they weren't Hyped enough yet. Unfortunately so, its all about being hyped in the music bizz, before you ever make any success. But have a listen to Please Me, and its one of the best fucking Beatles albums ever. Ahh what am i wasting time for explaining it to you, you listen to MCR. jk

Not really, ha. I never do that with anything. I find the album great, whimsical experiene. Really great psychedelic album. Not as good as later Floyd of course, but better then the stuff they put out untill DSOTM and the subsequent albums.

Piper At The Gates of Dawn is pretty bad if you ask me. It doesn't really compare with the other ones up there (except for Ringo...wtf?).

Why you gotta be slammin' on Ringo, dawg? :gangster:

ok umm.... you have good times bad times, babe im gonna leave you, dazed and confused, and communication breakdown all on one album, and none of them are even the best on the album(how many more times). while there are some very very good choices in this poll, i really don't see any other choice better than Led Zeppelin.

are you experienced and the who sing my generation are also amazing albums, and the doors is good too.

also, wolfmother is awesome, but, as sad as it is, they are not on this poll.
anyone for tennis?

The Beatles weren't the best at everything they did. Their debut is good but not as essential as others.

"Best" debut. Not essential. Best is really a matter of opinion here. It's hard to argue that it wasn't as essential as the others. Any album that tops the charts for 50 weeks (2 weeks shy of 1 year) straight is bound to have incredible influence.
