Whose Line Was It Anyway?
I just bought John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band and I find that the album version of Mother gets VERY emotional at the end as oposed to just just one (1) scream on the single edit.

Hate me, do it and do it again.
The single edit of "Famous Last Words" that's played in the video annoys me, not because it's shortened, but because the ending on the album version is so brilliant. The mixing eventually has everything fade out - Gerard's epic backing vocals, the drums, guitar, everything, and the vocals keep chanting the chorus and a keyboard magically floats in and then it ends. It's brilliant, but in the single edit, it's taken out and a guitar chord is played and fades out instead. And it's lame.

THE JANITOR
There is a generally excepted, 4 minute single edit of the Grand Funk Railroad song "I'm Your Captain/Closer To Home" that is a very poor substitute for the 10 minute album version. The single edit will do in a pinch but I must listen to the long to get my fix. You dig me?

Now listening to "I'll Be There". yeah. but it's the me first and the gimme gimmes version which kills the jackson 5 version
