![]() Randall Bramblett has been knocking on the doors of rock legend for a fair wee while now. Take a deep breath and ponder the fact that Randall has toured and/or recorded with: Widespread Panic, Gov't Mule, the Allman Brothers Band, Elvin Bishop, Steve Winwood, John Hammond, Robbie Robertson and dozens of equally fantastic artists. Back in the seventies he served time at Capricorn Records with Cowboy, Gregg Allman and Sea Level as well as recording a couple of solo albums on Polydor - "That Other Mile" and "Light of the Night". But then it took another twenty years for "See Through Me" to return him to solo recording. Since then he's rattled out another three exemplary albums of southern tinged roots rock, each one chock full of soulful vibes, raspy vocals and songs of hope and despair. His band also includes the incredibly gifted guitarist, Davis Causey, who's been working with Bramblett since their Sea Level days. This is a musical feast, touching on blues, rock and soul, with the occasional diversion into classic singer / songwriter mode, but its when he whips up a Southern stew that things really take off with the sax driven 'Queen Of England' top of the list.
