Ade Fenton vs Gary Numan - Healing![]() You may be aware of Ade Fenton from his techno labels, Perverter and Advanced. If, like me, you approach techno with a caution normally reserved for large carnivorous animals who've been on hunger strike, then feel free to join in with my cry of 'who'? However, if you read the small print you may have noticed that he co-produced the rather splendid Gary Numan album, "Jagged". And here's oor Gazza repaying the favour. This song, one of four that Numan vocalises on, from the album "Artificial Perfect", is skull rattlingly good. I am assuming, of course, that you have a fondness for the industrial kling klang and klitter klatter that exemplifies this kind of thing at its best. You know, Nine Inch Nails before Reznor sobered up or Front 242 anytime. As a single, it does what its supposed to do, which is make you want to hear more. Good stuff. http://www.myspace.com/adefenton Pre order the album at Amazon |
