I don't know if anyone still reads these, but here goes. I've been working on a trash can, and I have everything set so that it works in game. BUT, the icon is not showing up properly. Before you suggest I've coded it wrong, let me explain further. It works if I use the original icon picture under the new object name. HOWEVER, if I change the icon picture, even slightly, and save it as the same name that worked (changing nothing else) the icon shows up as a white square in game. I'm not sure what's wrong, if it's somehow referencing something else, or why it doesn't work if I change it (are there size limitations on the icons?). Regardless, I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it, any suggestions? Attached is my file. |

I don't know what it is, but I think it might have to do with how you are saving the .dds texture. |

It is to do with how the programme you are using is encoding the dds file i dont remember which programme you should use, maybe dxtbmp or something try a different way of encoding the icon, maybe a different programme. |
