Help With Blender!

Im starting using blender following DM tutorial....I can import 3ds models but when it comes no nifs....the appear distortioned.....
The only step I could follow in the correct your blender part
is that says Change in the new window the nif version to: 10.0.1.0...where is that??? Is it possible that, that doesnt let me get ne nif models visible????
Any help will be welcomed!

Step 2: Correct your blender

Go on File/Import/Net Immerse/Gamebryo File. In the window that appears after that, press cancel.

Now click on the icon at the left side of the bottom. Go into Scripts Winow.

Then click Scripts/System/Scripts Config Editor.

Now appears a window where you can change the scripts.

Click on the export box and click on NetImmerse/Gamebryo (.nif & .kf).

Change in the new window the nif version to: 10.0.1.0

And the seams import box has to be light green.

Click on apply to save your changes.

Close blender.

Well its not that it distorts, but that the bones show up as octahedron, so just select those strange cones and things and in the downpart pannel select stick ;)

BTW try not making 2 topics but just edit the first one :)
