Hi, some people know how to reconstruct the bones from an animals with 3ds max, and i heared that they use the bone tools of 3ds max for this, so i tried and my questions are:

1.) You have to edit the original bones or you have to create new bones and name them as the old ones?

2.) How do you have to export your nif?

3.) Where you have to paste them in nifscope, or what do you need to make the reconstructed bones to work?

ok so I have tried it, and I haven't tested it in game, so I may be wrong so responding to ur questions:

1.) you have to edit the game's original bones.

2.) export it as usual, but I recommend to rig it before exporting.

3.) for them to work you need to copy/paste the translations of the bones in nifskope, though IDK why, but, it sounds strange to me as usually bones don't work as you moved them in game.
