I'm trying to make a new food, and and animals seem to eat it without the game crashing or anythin, but the food is invisible, when selected and placed. does anyone know why this is? |

Is the link in the XML pointing to the BFB/NIF file correctly? |

Bfbs have to be edited using xvi32 (free, google it). Notepad will corrupt them completely. The bfmats you open with notepad. In the bfb are the names of all the bfmat files so you need to rename them to match, but you CANNOT change the number of characters used in the name. |
Check out my site where you can get many of my downloads here.

You CAN. ![]() Although it's quite difficult. ![]() Yeah it's probably a mistake in the model, try replacing your models by BF models.

well its actually the BF berries that come with ES I'm using, only they have a different skin. Atleast its working ingame, apart from it being invisible. edit: I've recoded the bfb file using xvi32, and its fixed the invisible problem alittle, but the food only appears when your close to it, when zooming out it turns invisible again, and also it won't appear on any animals requirements and I've got some animals are granivorus. By the the food I'm tring to make is wild seeds. |

I've made some progress, it turned out that I had put the uneditted tsk files for the berries instead of the editted tsk file in the download fileand a misspelling in one of the bfb files in the download file, and now they show up on the animals food requirements. Although it still turns invisible when zooming out.![]() Edit: the zoom out glitch is now fixed |
