Hi well i am new at designing and i took several tutorials of GIMP and coding of this site before attempting to make a new animal, i recently made a meerkat pretzel cart thought it worked it isnt good enough, but ok then i downloaded the ACT by octavio, and everything went very good till i got stuck in this part:

d – Open the ai folder and you can see a rar file called ai, there extract the seven files of your base animal and the delete the rar file, code the names of the files and now select all and right click, go to properties and see the little white box that says “Read Only” at the bottom of the properties, if it has a tick, quit it if it haven’t don’t do anything, if you keep the tick the file wont save, so now open the file that is called codename and code it with replace all now search for zoopedia, and it will say: s_Zoopedia="zoopedia:zoopedia_zoopediacode:entry" change zoopedia code with the code of your zoopedia, my is blueheron now search for Rarity and you can see a number at the side, is it for change the zoo fame needed for adopt that animal put his number to have the following starts needed:
20: 1 star
40: 2 stars
60: 3stars
80: 4 stars
100: 5 stars
Then search for Endangerment and at the right between " " and put there the status code (see that codes at the bottom of the tutorial) after that search for BiomeData and where it says <BFGBiomeData location= "locationcode" put there your location code now where it says sensitivity and the list of all biomes put the sensitivity of that biomes for your animal, ill put to my blue heron 10 to wetlands, 8 to tropical rainforest and -10 to desert now put the now put the primary="true" code next to the main biome of your animal, ill put it next to the wetlands, search for scale to change the size of your animal
:ph43r: help plz

Hi!

So basically you are about to code what I call the main xml files. They are where you do most of the changes.

Begin by finding your 6 files. Then, open each one in notepad and replace the original codename with your codename. Let me know if you have any troubles and once you do that I'll explain the next part.
Check out my site where you can get many of my downloads here.

Oh don't worry! I check through all the forums so you can just reply. If I don't respond for a bit. it's fine if you PM me cause sometimes I forget or miss the topic ;)

Anyways,

Now open the main xml file, and search for zoopedia. the codename that comes after that must be all lowercase

Then you can continue with the tutorial here:
