Hello guys, This is usually an easy fix but this one skin appears to be being stubborn >.< I'm making an andalusian horse, based off the przewalskis wild horse. so the original nif name was: HorsePrzewalskisWild_Adult_M.dds horse_andalusian_white_mains.dds is what I changed the .dds skin file name to and the coding in the .nif file with a hex editor. in the .xml file in the entities/etc/ai file the line of coding is: <textureData> <mainObj material="horseandalusian_Adult_M_MTL" image="shared\horse_andalusian_white_mains.dds"/> </textureData> yet when placed in game the skin goes white. I know its sort of working because before placement the skin is there... If anyone can help me out that would be great, I've made animals before and not had this problem I don't understand what I'm doing wrong! oh heres a piccie to show what the skin looks like in nifiskope =) ![]() any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Are you placing the skins in the codename folder? if so, that's the problem. The horse is weird and so in the xml you either need to change "shared\horse_andalusian_white_mains.dds" to "entities/units/animals/codename\horse_andalusian_white_mains.dds" Or else make a new folder, next to entities, called shared and put the skins in there. |
Check out my site where you can get many of my downloads here.
