Hello, i am quite fine with coding animals, but the further i go, the questions get more. So i hope to get some answers by the coding cracks here. 1. Why is the young.xml always related to the female dds-file? If i am creating a young_M.nif and a young_M.bfm and a young_M.dds, and of course the young_M.xml in the ai folder, would that work even if there is just the young.xml related to the female files? 2. Is it possible to make variants for the young files with _1 and so on? 3. Why do i always get the message in game "canīt reach the food" even if there is nothing beside the food? 4. What can i change here in the main.xml? (threshold and value) <ZTUserStaffAction> <SetAttribute name="hygiene" value="0" threshold="20" 5. What can i change here in the main.xml? (privacy and exercise) <BFAINeedAdjusts privacy="0" exercise="0.15" /> Big thanks for your help. |

1. yes, that's fine. 2. no, sorry. Its impossible for babies to have variants. 3. it's something that came with ea. it means that the dish is too close to another object, very annoying. I don't know about 4 and 5. |

thanks so far. and yes, it came with EA. its annoying, cause the food is not really beside another object and i think the animals can still use it. but the message is going on my nerves. :-) Before EA it was possible to put the food right beside the fence and there was no problem. |

It's one of the bugs in ea, so I dunno how you'd fix it. perhaps by making a hack that removes it or something. |

As for 4. You dont want to edit that is it is the coding to allow zookeepers to clean the animal 5. That will change how much the animal needs those. Privacy is the same as normal, but exercise will be needed a bit more often. |

What can i change here in the adult_f.xml? f_adoptCount="rand(2,1)"/> Cause i am looking for the problem, that i can just choose a male animal from the list in the game, but there is no female. Is it random how many males and females are in the list? |

I eat blender for breakfast.

Yep. I believe male is right, female is left. For example, at the peafowl its 4;1, u get 4 females til u get one male. That are only guesses! |

so it has to be the same in both files, the adult_f.xml and the adult_m.xml? Cause in my case the numbers are different: adult_F.xml: f_adoptCount="rand(2,1)"/> adult_M.xml: f_adoptCount="rand(1,1)"/> But in both cases there should be at least one of each gender and i am just having the male in my list. |
