So i found this site and jumped right into trying to skin and make varients and figured that out in a few hours, so i moved on to trying to make my own animal (yea probably was a big leap) and i was doing fine until i tried to reskin the przewalskis wild horse and there were no .dds files in the copied or original ZT2 folder. The regular animal works fine in game but i cannot see its .dds skins or view them in Nifskope, it is just a blank model... any ideas on what to do or where these files are hiding? Any help is much appriciated. Edit: I also figured out how to make my own skin for it from scratch but i hoped i wouldnt have to do that. |

The horse dds files are not located in the same spot. They are in x100.000.z2f/shared and are called Horse_Adult_F.dds, etc. So when you compile your folders, you'll have an extra one, because of course you'll want them to be back in YourFileName.z2f/shared |

Bah! im stuck again, I was reading a tutorial and it talked about copying and pasting biomes for the animal, but where is it supposed to be copied to? and is it different for the horse like the skin .dds files were? |

ok, open up your animals main xml and search for <BFGBiomeData location=. below there will be stuff like <grassland sensitivity="5" />, etc, you need to look for primary="true" /> at the end of one of the biomes. that is the main biome of the animal. once you find it, copy it then paste it at the end of the biome you want your animal to have, after the "number" then delete it off the first biome, but remember to keep the "/>". |

The main xml is the one called HorsePrzewalskisWild.xml in the entities/units/animals/ai folder. |

There are many animal making tutorials, the one here though doesn't work. Heres the link to ZTAC, which is very reliable and taught me how to make animals. http://z14.invisionfree.com/Zoo_Tycoon_Vol...?showtopic=1104
