yea i just place fence, raccoon, and live food. but its difficult to get his enrichment need in the red when "look around" and "groom" count as enrichment but he at least knows its there... its got to be an initiative problem. something is preventing the stimulus to actually "Chase" it. |

Yeah hmm... I feel like it's got to be a beh/tsk file if it appears in the recommendations. Does the original red panda use the prey? There may be something in the coding that messes it up. Can I see the final new part of the beh file again and see if I notice anything? |

Im thinking "locoSpeed="stalk" is my problem? What can i change it to? <ChasePrey> <subjects> <raccoon/> </subjects> <behaviors> <BFBehPursuit hitRadius="10" pursuitRadius="30" locoSpeed="stalk"/> <BFBehAnimate targetAnim="Browse_Idle" playTime="3"/> </behaviors> </ChasePrey> <MissPrey> <subjects> <raccoon/> </subjects> <behaviors> <ZTBehFeedback> <ZTFeedbackData> <ZTActionInfo locID="animalactions:GrowlAngry"/> </ZTFeedbackData> </ZTBehFeedback> <BFBehAnimate targetAnim="Stand_Hiss"/> </behaviors> </MissPrey> <AttackPrey> <subjects> <raccoon/> </subjects> <behaviors> <BFBehAnimate targetAnim="Stand_Swipe" interruptFlag="true"/> <BFBehPursuit hitRadius="3" pursuitRadius="30" locoSpeed="fast"/> <BFBehAnimate targetAnim="Stand_Swipe" interruptFlag="true" loopFlag="true"/> </behaviors> </AttackPrey> and no the redpanda doesnt use the live food. although it DOES use the elevated nest box and hollow stump shelter, which wont show up in my raccoons reccommendations box for some reason. but one conunndrum at a time....

Ok so I think browse_idle needs to be changed with like walk_ahead because that animation is for the stalking and browse_idle is eating in place so that won't work I think and maybe that is the problem. I assume raccoon is your codename? Caps matter so if it is listed as Raccoon elsewhere that could also be a problem. |

And did you code the killing animations and the predator offset in the main ai xml file? Look at my and Ailurus's raccoon dog (also made from red panda and also a predator) The dog is available at SDU, ZTV and Zootopia. |

the download link isnt working is there any way you could email it to me? or at least the part of the code that i might need? miss_midnyte@yahoo.comand penguinman, i noticed that the raccoon only "looks at" or acknowledges the live food if this bit of code is in the tsk file: <BFAITaskTemplate Name="YoungStalk" TaskDelayMin="30" TaskDelayMax="60" UniqueID="raccoon:YoungStalk"> <BFAICreateData> <Subjects> <raccoon_Young/> <Qualifiers_AND inWater_OR_onLand="true" isSwimming="false"/> </Subjects> <Targets> <raccoon_Young/> <Qualifiers_AND inWater_OR_onLand="true" notInSight="10" isRelation="sibling"/> </Targets> <Objects/> </BFAICreateData> <BFAIEvalData needPointsGood="15"> <BFAIAttributeFloatMap social="-30"/> </BFAIEvalData> <BFBehExecTask> <BFBehFaceTarget/> <ZTBehFeedback> <ZTFeedbackData> <ZTActionInfo locID="animalactions:StalkingAnimal" useTargetName="true"/> </ZTFeedbackData> </ZTBehFeedback> <ZTBehViewEvent viewKey="Pos_5"> <ZTFeedbackData> <ZTThoughtInfo locID="guestthoughts:AnimalStalkGood" priority="1" timeout="60" global="false" useTargetName="true"/> </ZTFeedbackData> </ZTBehViewEvent> <BFBehPlaySet behSet="ChasePrey"/> </BFBehExecTask> <BFAICompletionData> <BFAIAttributeFloatMap social="-5" stimulation="-5"/> <BFBehExecTask> <BFBehSendToken> <BFAITokenList> <BFAIToken Name="t_ChasePlay" GiveTo="subject" Payload="target" Timeout="20"/> <BFAIToken Name="t_EvadePlayYoung" GiveTo="target" Payload="subject" Radius="30" Timeout="15" Reconsider="true"/> </BFAITokenList> </BFBehSendToken> <ZTBehFeedback> <ZTFeedbackData> <ZTEmoticonInfo emoticonName="EmoteAnimalSocialVeryGood"/> </ZTFeedbackData> </ZTBehFeedback> </BFBehExecTask> </BFAICompletionData> <BFAIFailureData> <BFBehExecTask> <BFBehPlaySet behSet="FailureSet"/> </BFBehExecTask> </BFAIFailureData> </BFAITaskTemplate> |

Hmm unfortunately that doesn't seem to tell me much, although it makes sense hmm.... Did you change the Browse_Idle animation and it still didn't work? And I think dinosaur is probably right. In an animal that does use the lizard, search the main xml for prey or chase or look through the section filled with ="true" to see if you see anythign that seems related to the prey food. |

Ill get my computer fixed in a little over a week hopefully and then maybe I can help out more, but I just cant figure it out... ![]() My best guess is that maybe more info needs to be pasted into the tsk or beh files. |
