You know those .dds files you have to edit with dxtbmp and it has the skin of the animal in it?? Well I edited it and saved it and then I opened it again, I just wanted to check something, and then I found that it hadn't saved!! So basically I was making an animal out of the gray wolf and when I had edited the skin and saved it and opened it again -- what I saw was still the gray wolf skin! And I tried again and still no help! Yeah I'm really angry because I worked hard on that skin

Im sorry that happened! You have to right click the file, select properties, and uncheck read-only. |
Check out my site where you can get many of my downloads here.

For dds files as well? Well I had no idea! I thought that this only was like that for text files  Edit: I checked and no they arent read only! That box is already unchecked! ![]() Edit again: I think I figured it out! I have to save in DXT1 (noAlpha) format right? Well I didnt know about the noalpha part! That was prolly the cause of it

Well, anyways, I got it done and all but the animal wont show up on the menu? I did do everything as I do with normal downloads, made it a z2f file, put it in a folder Border Collie, and put it in the right folder along with the dl file

Have you opened your xml files in a internet browser to make sure they have no errors? That can make it not show up ingame. |
