So I'm working on my first Animal, made out of the Utahraptor. I did everything like the tutorial told me to do. And it shows up in the menu fine. So heres what happened. First try, when I place it it was colored weirdly, pink with blue leaveish things, and a yellow underside. (I hadn't skinned it yet because I just wanted to get it ingame with the normal Utahraptor skin first.) And I tried to check the Normal Utahraptor and it turns out that it had the same coloration. So I opened it's model file with a hex editor and replaced all the things that were Utahraptor with my codname. And added a 1 after it because my codename was 1 letter short of the original. And now it's flashing black and yellow rapidly ans it's slightly transparent. But the Utahraptor changed back to it's normal skin so I solved something. But can anyone help me with the flashing colors? |

Its more likely a problem with you naming of your .bfm files and your .bfamt files. |

I don't have any of bfamt files. Is it necisarry to clone the EA animals? But I just checked my BFMs and they seem fine. I directed it to my models name, and have replaced every thing that says "utahraptor" with my codename, but it still gives me the flashing black and yellow or some wacky pink, blue, and yellow skin. |

Ah I see now. The ACT tutorial didn't explain those. What do I have to do with them? |

Whoops, spelling error! Basically inside the .bfmat files you replace the old skin name to the new one. You'll see where. But you HAVE to rename the file according to what is in your .bfb files, so you may need to have that open to check to see how to rename your files. |
