Hey, I've already stated the first problem in my Current Project topic but thought I might get more help here In short, I made a Painted Reed Frog from Xtrats Bullfrog about a year ago, it worked perfectly, now I wanted to upload it to some sites so started running tests again and found the model appears to be inviscible. It's placaeble and the animal is THERE demanding stuff but you cant see it. I've checked the bfm. files and they seem to be fine. Zooasaurus said to find King Hoopla, but just in case anyone else knows...My second problem is regard to a number of animals in my zoos who constantly start drowning. I often try to use ponds/pools rather than troughs/bowls of water and it works fine most of the time, but some animals (particularly fennec foxes) always start drowning. My pools are rarely more then the lowest depth, and it wouldnt be right to make such animals fully swimming so I was wondering if someone could tell me how to make it so they can "wade" in shallow water, like larger animals can? Thanks |

I don't know exactly, but maybe there's summit in the .beh file about drowning and the invisible animal, if the .bfm is fine i'd check the main .xml. |

Thanks for the suggestion, I can see some stuff on the drowning in the .beh but not sure exactly what does what... And the XML file is fine too; King Hoopla also suggested the NIF which also is fine... |

I edited it in notepad, but I thought that was common? Or have I done something obviously wrong here.... |

Yep, notepad is correct. What I mean was, what did you do to code it once inside. You're only supposed to change the codename in 3 places, but you have do to all 3. Did you? |

Yes, twice in the first line, once in the "graph" line after the animation links. I've been looking into this heavily and earlier today found my old PC that I originally made it on and rigged it all up. Now that PC was running XP compared to my currents Vista but I see no reason why that should cause a problem. When I loaded the old PC the frog is working 100% fine on it, no problems at all. I'm not running AA on that computer but again no reason why that should affect it. The only thing I can think of is that the "base" animal I used was the Golden Dart Frog (I think yours Penguinman??) as i couldnt find the Bullfrog download and the only difference between the two computers is that the old one has the Dart frog installed and the new one doesn't. I wonder if there was therefore a file or something the frog was referring to within the Dart frogs coding...:S |

OK, great news The Reed Frog Work Again!!! YAY!!! It was a problem with a .bf file of all things that had been renamed when it shouldn't have been - I think had I actually waited long enough I would have seen it appear briefly from time to time. However I still don't know how to edit my Fennecs so they can swim? Any help there? |

In the main XML, look for wade depth near the bottom... It may be that if you change that, they will drown at a different depth. You won't be able to get them to swim, though, without some very tricky coding. Hope that helps!

I'll definitely take a look. And I didn't actually mean swim as in with all the animations too, I've tried that in the past and will never do so again  but just swim as in "walk through/on water" lol Thanks |
