just wondering but how do you code the EA animals bfb so it doesnt flash in game with winhex?

You already asked this in another topic and I told you how to do it there:

A BFB file is opened in a hex editor like WinHex. If you go to the files in the Materials folder, you will see that you need to find that file in the BFB and rename it appropriately. Use the Search function to find the name of the Materials file inside the BFB and change it from whatever it is to what you have called the BFMAT file inside the Materials folder.

i know this isnt ea but is that the same for the mm animals and wjhat do i do once i have got to the materials folder

Yes it is the same for MM files. When in the materials file all you need to do is open the files, look for the word texture, replace the animal's skin file name on the texture line with your animal's skin file name, and rename the .bfmat file with what you coded in the .bfb file. You may need to open the.bfb file to see how you coded so that you can name the .bfmat file correctly.

it didnt work it still flashes what do i look for in the brb's though cos i just renamed the bfb's but coded the bfmat's but it still flashes in the game so where can i code it to work in the bfb's

You need to search for the names of the BFMAT files within the BFBs, and make sure you change them to whatever you've renamed the BFMAT files to.

Open in WinHex, click Search at the top, and enter the name of the BFMAT file, it will take you to it.

You need to find Deinonychus_etc, and replace it with PyroRaptor_etc.

thank you i done that now can you change the title name to Bob103's Coding Problems please as i would like to know the following

I have Tried to give the Female a Different skin from the male but with no luck it just go's to the males skin when placed in game

When i mesh somethings like make the spectacled bears snout longer for my formosan black bear it doesnt work in game it just has the spec bears model and this happens to me quite a lot so i really need some help on it and thanks for helping me on the BFB's ShenTirag and MarineManiac
