i doubt it when you combine anims and models, they rarely work. and the aardvark and bear would -probably- not work whatsoever. however, if you were to somehow mesh it from the bear, it would work with bear animations |

What badis says is right, and here is a more full explanation of why it wouldnt work. Models are made up of skeletons and nodes. These nodes are "pivots" or "joints" that model uses to move the limbs and skin and such. The animations are basically lists that say "for this animation move this node this much in comparative XYZ space (up/down/left/right/forward/back compared to its original position)". So when you use animations for a different model, they may have different numbers of nodes or nodes in different places, so the animations distort the model because the nodes are moving in the correct way, but the rest of the model no longer resembles the animal you want it to! |

It is possible, I've done it with some animals, but it is painfully difficult, and still may mess up the climbing animations, as the aardvark does not have them. I wouldn't suggest trying it unless you have had a lot of experience with coding. |

Yes, and you would need to use a walking animation for the climbing, so it would walk vertically up trees, not very realistic... |

And whether it would actually go up the tree is another thing, it is never certain. You might find it just walks on the ground. |

It would be easier to painstakingly mesh it from a Koala, as the Koala has working climbing anims. |
