This may be hard to do. I don't even know how to do it. I suppose you must use a flying animation and swimming animation from another animal and put the coding into yours. You may want someone that knows how to do it help you, because I'm sure it isn't easy to explain. However, someone else may be able to help you. It just seems like it is not an easy thing to do. |

I once heard someone talking about replacing the secretary birds want to run around flapping its wings with the time it spends flying. I thought at the time that there must be an asset that determines how much time an animal spends doing one behaviour and they had swapped those two percentages around so the bird flew more than it flapped. I think it was the Wyvern mesh that had been designed that way. |

To make secretary birds fly around all the time you need to edit the bfb, replacing the coding for running with the coding for flying. To Get Animals to swim underwater is very complicated and hard to do, i don't want to explain it. Only 2 Designers have ever done it successfully. |

Please, explain it to me. I just want my crocs, beavers and pigmy hippos to go underwater, and I have .xml knowledge. |

For te pygmy hippo, just give it the beh, tsk and bfm of the of the other hippo. Now the other animals, if you were to use the most common way to make aquatic animals, the croc and beavers would act like penguins... |

Scroll down to near the bottom in the bfm, you will see somthing like: <node name="Run"> <table> <Run_Ahead /> <Run_FlyLowFence /> <Run_Jump /> <Run_LeftA /> <Run_LeftB /> <Run_RightA /> <Run_RightB /> Change the running codes for flying ones so it becomes: <node name="Run"> <table> <Fly_Ahead /> <Fly_FlyLowFence /> <Fly_Left /> <Fly_Left /> <Fly_Left /> <Fly_Right /> <Fly_Right /> Eriorguez, it would involve completely recoding the animal, and the technique doesn't work with beavers and some other animals. I do not advise it unless you are a very skilled coder, and i am planing a hack to make nile crocodiles swim underwater anyway. You can edit the behaviors a little, but you will lose some of the actions, for example the croc can no longer gape. |

Ah, then I'll try to do something with the Pigmy hippo, and wait for that hack. Just remember to also update the Deinosuchus when EA is out... |

Sorry to bump this, but it seems the Deinosuchus goes underwater. Now, a Nile croc hack will look better. |
