How Do I Code The Bfmat Files; What program do i use

I got another problem, i don't exactly know what i do to code the BFMAT files properly <_< . My game loads up, But when i press on the animal the game freezes up and say error has occurred i have followed all the advice from the forums but still no luck, whats wrong with my animal.

P.S i coded the BFMAT file in Notepad.

Coding the BFMAT in notepad is exactly what you should be doing. I doubt that's what's causing your animal to freeze up though. Go through the Common Problems on Mika's second post and it should let you know what you did wrong.

Are you sure you are -only- changing these two lines in the BFM?

The very first:

<BFM modelname="entities\units\animals\codename\codnemae_Adult_F.nif">

and the graph:

<Graph name="codename_Adult_F" version="1">

All the other lines should stay as they are and reference existing in-game animal animations.
