Okay, I did all the stuff like changing ow many babies, where it lives, scale, etc. But how do you change the way the animal looks? Also, can you put horns on animals that originally don't have horns? I saw unicorns, but what about wolves? or beavers?

Model editing is fairly difficult and wouldn't recomend it for someone barely starting to create for ZT2. Instead of attempting tackling such a high task, read this here, which will help you get started for creating. Start with something small like creating a variant to something more difficult like creating an animal. Once you think you could manage an animal pretty easily, skim through the Zoo Tycoon 2 files and look through their codes to see if you think you can come up with something more. |

no, the thing is it is easier to start designing by making a varient, then an object, and so forth, than to start with an animal |

But that really depends on your personal prefernce. I suck at skinning, so I make objects instead. |

Well not totally -- even if you dont recolor well, just to practice it's really good to start with a variant. No one says you need to release it, but it just helps to get the feel of how things work. |
