I'm not exactly sure as to what you are doing, but the only files you should be using with Winhex are the .bfb and .nif files, everything else should be opened with notepad. That can cause the animal not to show up, if its not coded correctly. DDS file are opened with DXTBmp, but I think you already know that. |

The only thing I can think for now is that did you put the file into the correct file extension? Or did you zip it incorrectly? When you zip the file, make sure you click on entities, ui, ai, and lang and then add to archive. |

well. when i first started coding, inside of the AI file, where htye have two files hwere you have too code and stuff, the one that was a SHORTCUT, doesnt take me to the internet, it says, this file no longer uses a file or insternet source. and then it cloes, coul these be the cause? |

That could be part of the problem. Your AI pathway should look like this: AI/tasks/animals/.beh and .tsk You are talking about that AI folder right? If I were you I would start all over with the AI file. There shouldn't be any shrotcuts and it shouldn't take you to the internet. To code the the two files (.beh and .tsk) you should use only Notepad. I think that might work, although I could be wrong, I've never had this problem before and therefore am very lacking in knowledge If that doesn't work hoepfully someone with more expertise can help us to figure it out

well, you se before i would use the "notepad" ones and open it in the internet to make sure it all was working, but it [this is the only one that does this] says it can no longer take me there, ill go and re-do it with a new one and se if it works. |

winrar or winzip and yes, thats where the main xml is once you open your .z2f, you should have four folders. They should be called lang, ui, entities, and ai |
