Another egg query... Can you make an animal lay it's eggs in water? Ergo - Can I make the Nile monitor into an amphibian? |

I'm making a MM2 animal, and I'm sure I've coded the model file, XML and BFM correctly, and that they all match up, but I still have the same problem. When I try to select the animal in the animal panel, my game crashes. This is my first MM2 animal, and it is also and Ambient into Animal. Any thoughts? |

If it is an ambient into an animal then you will expect a crash. I'm afraid there isn't much solution to this since as of yet, ambients are not possible to become animals, at least, not fully functional animals. What exactly did you do to code the ambient? Did you use other animal's animations? Doing this could probably be a source for your problem. |

I was testing it to see if the base animal's animations would work with it, as some do, but I didn't think it would be the problem... What's odd is that I made a mistake when I started, as I named the 2 AI files wrong, and the animal appeared in the game, but of course it didn't move. But I suppose if it wasn't moving, it wasn't using animations... I'll edit the animations the animal uses and see if it works. |

I have a slightly stupid question... Does anyone know where the Musk OX NIF is? Edit: And for that matter, the main XMLs? |

Where exactly though, because I went into the game files, and in entities/units/animals there was MuskOx and MuskOx2, and both folders had only DDS and BF files in. Where exactly are the other files for the download? Is there another location for downloads? |

In the TSK file, after each 'Action' there is a line like this: <BFAIAttributeFloatMap exercise="-50"/> Can I change how much an action lowers the needs bars by editing the -50? If so, do I make it higher or lower? |

Well yeah lol. Ok you want to make the number more negative. So if you want it to lower it more, make it -75 or something

Right... *Dusts off topic* Haven't had to post in here for a while. Basic problem - No name and no zoopedia. I checked every link, they're all lower case, all the same word, lang file is named correctly... Is there any other reasons for this happening, before I go mad? |
