I use the most up-to-date beh and tsk files, but the weird thing ist that it didn't blink before. The kangaroo is blinking, I haven't checked the gift yet. I included and renamed the bfb files, is that wrong? *umm*

Okay, I deleted the bfb files from my animal's folder, and it seems to be working , but it's all white before I place it, after it's placed, it works fine. *umm*

That means you need to edit the nif file's dds link ;)

Sorry, but I've another question: I coded a bull shark from the Blacktip reef shark, everything works, except the skin which is flashing yellow all the time. It can't be the beh and tsk, 'cause there are no newer ones than the from MM2. *umm*

That would be the bfb and materials files not linking up correctly ;)

Thanks, but if I replace the old codename in the bfbs, the game crashes when I click on the shark. And, in the materials everything is named correct, I think. *umm*

Well are you opening the bfbs in a hex editor?

Umm, I think I didn't, but which codenames have to be replaced there? I guess it won't work if I replace every "SharkBlackTipReef" in there.

In the NIF only replace the codename where it is followed by .dds

My animal, also the kangaroo does not move. I tried editing files from X120_000, but it says the Kangaroo Red files there are read-only. What do I do? In fact, all the kangaroo files I take from X120_000 are read-only, and therefore I can't edit them.

Also, I checked, there were only three XMLs out of the seven. Do I just replace 3 of the old ones with the same name as the new ones, and keep the other 4? And I still replace the ai tsk and beh, right? The main problem is that the files are read-only.

Yes, just replace the three, and right click, select properties, uncheck read only.

Okay, yet another question: I made a banteng, but it should use different skins for male and female. I checked every link I guess, but the males skin turns into the female ones when placed. Any ideas??
