Komodo98: Thanks, but I think badisbadis101 wants to do the raccoon. Thank you very much for offering, though! Okay, I've been having trouble the the meshed Serval...I'm not terribly certain how I'm going to fix it, but I'll come up with something, don't worry! I've got about 10 projects I'm working on right now, so bear with me. Meanwhile, a slightly MORE successful (i.e., it works ingame!) mesh edit: ![]() It's an attempt at an iriomote cat. As you may be able to see, I made the ears (which were originally round) triangular. I'm not sure about the markings on the body... I spent ALL DAY yesterday hand-coloring every inch of that skin and I'm still not 100% pleased with it. Most of the pictures I have of the iriomote cat show really indistinct patterning over the middle of the body, I'm just not sure how to pull that off without compromising the work I've done so far. It doesn't help that there aren't ANY really good pictures of this cat on the internet (believe me, I've looked). I may just go in and color over the spots with the body color again or something. I dunno yet. Anyway, more good stuff to come, stay tuned! |

i like it - none of my skins look quite right, but then again none of BF's do either. only thing is the forehead looks like it is protruding - maybe you could fix that? OR is it just the angle of the photo? great job, anyhow! btw, what program do you use to mesh? |

I use NifSkope. Which means that, unfortunately, I don't think I can fix the forehead. There's just too many vertices involved. : \ |

Thanks! When I say I hand-color, I'm actually doing it in Photoshop, but I'm using a graphics tablet and painting in individual hairs and whatnot, instead of trying to use the clone brush or photographic textures or stuff like that. I do use the clone brush sometimes, but only to fill in large areas and to match color edges. Also, I usually try to keep as much of the original BF texture as possible, if it fits with the animal I'm doing. ![]() |

Sometimes in nifskope certain parts are disfigured and it gets fixed when put in the game. The penguins have their wings chopped off in nifskope too lol. Everything's looking awesome, as usual, Gloria! |
