Looks nice, animallover, but, please do not post until you actually have it available for download. Until then, this is :closed: Also, it does state in the forum rules to only use the current projects thread for projects that you will be releasing here. PM one of us when you are ready for it to be re-opened

I am looking for a recolorer to make new arches. I don't have the programs for recoloring. Anyone want to recolor. I've got arches down. I'll get to other scenery objects pretty soon. |

You do know you only really need paint right? That's what I kinda use. |
| Come and look at the newest site in the Zoo Tycoon community: ZooLand! While it only has few members right now, it is a very nive looking site! | |

I thought that only worked for paths, I suppose that I could find out how to recolor using paint then. |

If you can recolor animals and jeeps that way you could probably do it for an arch. |

TECHNICALLY you can use Paint, but the truth is, to make it realistic, you need a program that can handle more than 256 colors, which is all that Paint will do. If you only use Paint, your objects/animals appear 'flat' because there's no depth to the coloration. When you enlarge the dds skin, you can see how all the pixels are just slightly different. Maybe only by a number or two. For example, white is 255/255/255. But (in the caribou variant) you'll see that the skin is made up of colors with 255/252/254, 254/255/200, 252/245/255, etc. They all LOOK white to the naked eye, but they aren't, really. And that's what gives the shading and texture to the skins. It's the same with objects. The flowers, for example, red isn't ONLY 255/0/0. It's 255/10/10, 255/35/15 (notice the first number does NOT change). |

Well, in that case, I want to make objects and what not that have depth and look amazing. Basically, like everyone elses, except for mine. So, I'm still looking for a recolorer. |

Well, it hasn't been quite an hour but if you're really serious about it, then I strongly suggest PSP. None of us (that I know of) can afford Adobe, so it's the next best thing on the market. It's what more than 75% of us use, I've noticed.

Trust me you don't want to use Adobe. Why well it is Complicated! It is better for Photo editing but not for small projects. Just a tip.I know you meant it for the best, Radar, but try and be more 'delicate' when you disagree with someone. Some people take offense at things like"you don't want" or saying it' too "complicated". That implies someone isn't smart enough to use it. NO - I know that's not what YOU meant, but just think about your wording  |

I think I overdid this one a little bit too much. I don't think anyone would want this so I'll make it smaller.
