Kaoru Amane is the name of the heroine YUI place in her movie Taiyou No Uta. Kaoru Amane is also the name of an artist whom released an album called Taiyou No Uta. The genere and style are the same, and in Goodbye-Days by YUI there are parts which resemble greatly to parts from Kaoru Amane's song Taiyou No Uta. Kaoru's website actually resembles YUI's and the whole feeling is the same. now, I'm sure it's not a coincidence, but can someone tell me the connection between Kaoru to our beloved YUI? |

Taiyou No Uta was a movie (starring YUI) and a dorama (starring Sawajiri Erika) The drama was 12 episodes long and the story line differed from the movie from what I hear. Bascially they are both play the parts of Kaoru Amane and both released singles for taiyou no uta (but they decided to release Sawajiri Erika's single under the name of Kaoru Amane) I hope I actually answered what you were asking >< ~Del |

My knowledge on this is: First, there's the Taiyou no Uta movie, starring YUI and that whateverhisname guy. And then, a dorama is made based on this movie, using similar title. Now, the main character of this movie is named Kaoru Amane. YUI obviously plays as her in the movie, but in the dorama Erika Sawajiri took her place. And so, since the story is about a singer/songwriter, then the marketing people there should have thought that it's a cool idea to have "Kaoru Amane" release a real-life album (note: this is not the first time ever happened in Japan where one real-life actress becomes the fictional character that she played and then released an album, using that fictional character's name). And thus, the Taiyou no Uta single, sung by Erika Sawajiri. This song is released during the same time with YUI's I remember You, I believe.. |

thanks, that actually answers most of my question ^^ what I dont understand is the similiarity in their style... in an industry where every artist tries to look as unique as he can, to find two artist who have an identical style and feeling to them is kinda weird to me. not to mention the resemblance in the songs which I've mentioned. could be just a coincidence though... |
