Erika Sawajiri's 'Taiyou no Uta' song is a pretty safe pick.
Whereas YUI had a lot of high parts and voice straining parts. I think that might be why I like Good-bye Days better.

a lil OT... but I was wondering since I like this dorama so much- any new or upcoming ones that are worth watching in the vein of Taiyou? I also dug Sekai no Chushin so in short im into the heavy love-drama department.

I don't wanna say, that Erika's 'Taiyou no uta' is a boring song, but if you compare it to 'Good-bye days', it's too plain and too standard. 'Good-bye days' is a lot more emotional.

That's all I can say  I finished the series and that Erika only has pretty face, she lip-syncs and not really playing guitar.

Furthermore, I see character of Kaoru in the series was quite open, I don't think a person who only lives at night and less communicate with other could be like her. (maybe I just don't like her :P) I think she's too pretty for a street singer.

I love the way YUI sit on the ground with her guitar case in front of her and the candle (and without pretty clothes or heavy make up >_<) ...... It's like she devoted herself with her songs. Compared to Erika (~boo)

Yeah, I agree that the last scene when Kaoru (in the series) dies in that boy's arms is really old-trend and CORNy. (~BOO).

Does anyone know where to direct download the drama? I'm really looking forward to it, but no one is seeding on D-Addicts. P.S i would like it if someone upload it on youtube, so we wouldn't have to download. Thank you!
