Those of you who know me will know that I am pretty sceptic. Therefor when my brother told me his friends flat was haunted (as I was going to go and stay there with him for a while) my natural reaction was "Fudge off" followed by condesending laughter. When I arrived at the flat I was in a bit more believing state, as I trust my brother very much and he had explained to me some of his experiences there with sencerity on his face. The doorways were salted as this was aparently a method from keeping the ghost from coming in rooms you didnt want it in. Throughout the day I heard noises, however i merely passed these off with logical explanations such as it was an old house so it creeks, and most of it was coming from outside. However these noises were frightfully to frequent, but I thought nothing of it. Then later that night I was having trouble getting to sleep as I was listening out for noises, I felt really stupid at the time. Then at around 3 am I heard the most surreal thing. There is no doubt in my mind that I heard something running down the stairs, I could pinpoint the exact location of whatever it was as it moved around the house. Then I heard clanging in the kitchen of dishes or cutlery, the fact that something was in the kitchen doing this was frightfully real. I never saw anything however my brother and his mate clamed to have seen it before, and I was in no position to doubt them after hearing that. There was no one else in the house other than the 3 of us who were all in the same room. Last week I would have told you that you were a moronic idiot for believeing in ghosts but now im not so sure. Well, I am still skeptical whether they exist, but I have had a fair share of interesting experiences. After my grandmother passed away inside of my house 4 years ago, I started noticing things. Late at night, or when no one else was around, I would hear my name called. Very faintly, almost as if from a tunnel, or from a good far distance. It was not muffled, but very distinct. My little brother and my cousin also had a frightful experience, which I will vouch for, because I have seen it before. At around 930pm, it was pitch black outside. They looked out the back window, and saw something move outside. They could not make out what it was, but it had a faint glow. Sounds odd, thats what I thought, until I saw it for myself. The occasional cold flash in the room where my grandmother passed away (now a TV/sitting room) is common, it does not bother me. I still do not know what to make of it. Perhaps it is me being skeptical while still wanting to believe, listening for things that are not there, making things out that just do not exist. All I can say is that, it does not bother me a whole lot. |

back when i was alot younger and living at my grand parents my brother (who's two years older) was trying to have a nap during the day. While he was trying to go to sleep he said that he felt someone breathing cold air onto him really softly and he had a look and sore nothing, then it happened a couples minutes later but harder and he said he could hear it like someone was blowing and as he turned around he sore something run off(like a shadow), but my brother could of been imagining something as it didn't happen to me. As for me i can't recall anything but its 1:34am atm and now im scared and got no one to sleep with :( |

oh just thought of another one, (sorry about the double post) both of my parents have told me that when my older brother was really young before i was alive (around 1) he always use to wake up crying pointing at the corner of the room saying "man". my parents said that they would here dishes rumbling and breaking around like what final said, but then when they went out to check everything was ok, everything was as they left it. as this carried on for a while it got worse and worse. Turning on the cieling fan in the room and stuff. So they do a weegy board(not sure how to spell it) and it turned out to be my older brother son from a past life came to say sorry. I believe Ghosts are there, just not all are intentionally trying to hurt people. My friend's house is haunted. Some people believe that a sign of ghosts is to have cigarette smokey smell when no one smokes. Well my friend and his dad were cleaning out the basement and his dad heard a woman's voice call his name. There were no women in the house that day. |

my friend is really religious she's a christian, and she's about to become one of the youngest priest. according from everything she has learned ghost's aren't real, if you ever see the image of one you loved and know they passed away it's simply a demon taking the image to confuse you, most of the time's noises are way of a demon letting you know they're there and they sense fear and love it. Also if you have ever felt as if something around you in a room or anywhere else is watching you, it's pretty much a demon, supposedly demon's can posses anything from toy's to statue's and if you stare it long enough it might and can be able to posses you I've had my share of that experience of something staring at me. But i don't know i believe it. |
