She plays coy, only to keep people from getting to the inside. Her eyes betray nothing, they merely give an illusion of confidence an allure, but they never allow those other emotions to bleed through. She is seen as cold, heartless, out for number one, but they do not know the extent of the compassion and care that she holds within. Is it foolish, to hide the things that she feels? Or is it the outsiders, the people around her, that are the fools? No one has ever tried to truly know her, just observe as she crashes and burns. Do they know what she has been through; the painful memories she conceals? Do they know of the deprevation she has known since day one? Do they even think to ask her why she is this way? Not once, not ever. But within, all she wants is to know that someone out there cares. Will that ever happen, will anyone ever want to know?
