you say that as if your contracts changed!?!?!?

my letter states im on 40 hours.... That will stay the same until I sign a new contract with improved wages..

if they want 45 hours out of me, they can pay me for 45 hours.

could anybody out there tell me if they are going to work saturdays for standard time or not i'am thinking about not doing them as i will only get about £5 a hour after tax and petrol is taken out of the pay so sat mornings for £20 i would rather stay in bed. :)

Our depot as pretty much said the same. Goodwill is shown by staff when doing overtime, the extra earnings is the company's reward. If the company withdraws the reward, then the goodwill goes with it. I also would be "better of in bed", as far as Saturday's are concerned, and i for one will be there.

working premium time should be paid premium time. if we are to be given time off in lieu of working saturday this should be at time and a half
