When I joined Wolseley I was informed that the Company 'did not recognise unions', surely any company can afford to take this option unless a significant number of its workforce are members of a union?

Whilst I do not consider unions in their current form as the solution to all workers problems the fact is that they are almost the only counterbalance to the strength of the corporate beast at this current time.

Does anyone have any idea how many Wolseley employees are members of a union, if so which unions?
Is anyone on this site a member of a union, if so which union?

Despite the Company's current stance on unions if enough employees join then they will have no choice.
