Every time I load up the browser, it no longer has me logged in. This ticks me off. That's why I haven't posted anything lately. And life goes by.

no idea...I'm logged in unless I clear cache/cookies...

the only changes that have taken place is that my add-free credits ran out and I am waiting until closer to the season before I renew so until then, we get ads.

Still doing it. Twice today I've hit the internet, and twice today I was not logged in. I miss the old system. I know though that sometimes budget cuts are necessary, and I understand.

Sorry, if it is in fact because of the ads...although I am not sure why that would be the cause but since it's the only recent difference, it must be.

Even though it does not cost much to be ad free, it seems like a waste since you and I are the only ones that use the boards...

I know its just us for now. That's why I said I understand. You're still going to have a hard time getting rid of me. :) I came many years ago, found a friend, and I'm staying!

Glad you are staying...hopefully we can generate more traffic once the hockey season(s) gets closer.

BTW, I had a chance to drive by Wakota arena today...very good memories playing there as a youth. From one of our players forgetting his shoulder pads and playing anyway (bantams) to our coaches son throwing pucks onto the ice during the game, as play was going on...and I believe I might have played a high school section game there as well.

You should have stopped in! Its amazing the memories an old arena can invoke. Sometimes people just stop by and share their memories of playing there, and have a look around for old time sake. That happens infrequently, but often enough. Rink 1 is still dry for the summer, we'll start turning it back to an ice arena around the 20th of July, but its just an arena for now, not an ice arena. I have too many memories to count there. I feel old at times thinking of the "new" rink, as Rink 2 is now 12 years old.

OK, ask...or complain, and you shall receive. Ads have now been removed and hopefully that will solve your staying logged-in problem. And truth be told, they were bothering me as well and would not help in attracting new members, and I need all the help I can get in that area.

What, no feedback puckster on the ad-free boards here? Did that fix your logged in problem?

If my problem had been fixed, I would have been replying! I didn't see it. Well that and I was taking a little time away from the internet. Something about promising to "fast" from it, in hopes God would send me a sign about something in my life. The sign came back "no", and at least it wasn't "wait", for I've been anguishing with "wait" for a while, but "no" still stings.

It is always good to get an answer back even though it may not be the one we would like.

I hope all is ok and that you are continuing to search for your answers through God.

Thanks a lot for the well wishes!

I'm sure everything will work out, I have faith. Even though this thing didn't. Sometimes its hard to accept signs, but I did get the message that I get the signs I need when I need them. So maybe its meant to be later. Maybe not.

Speaking of signs, I love the part in the movie Bruce Almighty when he is asking for a sign from God while driving and a big utility truck pulls in front of him loaded with road signs in the back end. Of course he does not recognize this but it was really funny. I don't know if you have seen the movie but that scene alone is worth checking it out.

It may be hard to accept signs but at least you are recognizing them.

Well my problem, is I see the signs I want to see, not all of them that contradict them.

Yes I've seen that movie, and the truck is slow in front of him. He's asking for a sign, and its weaving right in front of him.
