Well sorry for Jenn, but the Stars were swept. The Storm played excellent on the road in 2 come from behind victories, one in front of yours truly last night. Can't comment much on the rest of the league, except Des Moines can't seem to lose. Omaha lost a couple more games (what's up with that?) I believe SC scored a couple wins in Ohio, and SF lost both, but one in a shootout, (why can't anyone beat the bucs in shootouts?) |

Actually Sioux Falls lost in overtime, but either way they get a point. The game Des Moines couldn't seem to lose was the shootout vs. Waterloo on Friday. All six of the Bucs shooters made no dekes, came in and shot, all three goals scored hit the goalie and flipped over his shoulder and went in. It is still early in the season, it is not how you start, it is how you finish that matters. |

It doesn't matter how you win a shootout, but that you win, and Des Moines apparently knows how to win, now getting a few of their points that way. Tri-City needs to play a full road schedule like Ryan recommends. Either that or find a way to win at home. Or play opponents other than Des Moines and Lincoln at home. I need to find a way to get to the games, they haven't lost a game I've been at. |
