Cedar Rapids: Lost at home to Green Bay, but should be better next weekend. Chicago: Lost on the road to Indiana, but played their #2 goalie. Look for Bachman to start their next game and them to win. Des Moines: Raised the banner before their game last night and overcame a 3-0 deficit. Goalie Matt Dalton is quality, as his numbers show from last season in the NAHL. Green Bay: Beat Cedar Rapids in Cedar Rapids. Look to be a strong team this year. Indiana: Beat Chicago at home with a stellar performance by Gopher recruit Alex Kangas. Lincoln: Beat Omaha at home and Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls. Have scored 15 goals, while only allowing 3. Best team so far this season. Ohio: Split this weekend against Waterloo at home. Always nice to get that first win out of the way, but their attendance really lacks. Palmisano appears to be the better goalie out of him and Troy Redmann. Omaha: Lost on road to Lincoln and lost at home to Puckster's Tri-City team. Have looked horrible so far. Allowed 8 goals in their loss to Lincoln. Sioux City: Lost in Des Moines after going up 3-0 in the first 10 minutes of the 1st period. Couldn't capitalize on a late 5 on 3 PP. Sioux Falls: Have not looked so hot. Only mustered 14 SOG in a loss at home vs Tri-City. Allowed 7 goals in a loss at home to Lincoln. Tri-City: Picked up a win in Sioux Falls Friday and again in Omaha on Saturday. Have looked pretty good overall. Their defense is playing well. Waterloo: Split in Ohio. Were the first team to lose to Ohio, but in OT. Waterloo has a good goalie duo this year. |

Indiana will do well with Kangas. The new goalie duo for Tri-City seems to be coming along. Kesserich is fairly good, and I think Christianson will shine also. Omaha had to come out flying after the Lincoln loss, and of course SF was a little demoralized after their game on Friday. Maybe Lincoln is that good. |

Lincoln is playing like they are in mid-season form. I hope SC can keep them in check Friday. |

I know, that's why I'm cheering for SC, but I'm having second thoughts. If Lincoln loses, then not only is Jenn sad, but they'll be coming with a vengence on Saturday to Kearney. If Lincoln wins, then y'all are sad, but they might be overconfident going into Kearney. Either way it will be a tough set of games for the Storm this weekend. Go Muskies!(I think) |

Jenn is a big girl, I am sure she will get over it if Lincoln loses to Sioux City. :ph43r: And it doesn't matter anyway, Sioux City is in the play-offs. The only thing they are playing for is to avoid the "Omaha Record". |

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww thanks Puckster! Don't listen to those SC fans....who brought them here, anyway?!?! Hahahaha! I can't wait to see how tonight's game goes, how the Stars deal with last week's success. I'm really happy with the way my team played last weekend, but...I just can't let myself get too confident about it yet! It's hard to tell if Lincoln is truly playing that well or if the other teams just don't have it together yet. And I never like early season success like that...it's just plain scary! But...I'll take it while it's here; it's really exciting! |

Wow, another large goal output from Lincoln. Maybe those guys are really Stars! Looks like Sioux City tried to make a game of it though despite falling behind and seemingly staying there- all are observations from pointstreaking* the game. (I think I am copywriting the word pointstreaking* since I have never seen it elsewhere. Pointstreaking- v. meaning- to watch a game via the 120 second refresh option on pointstreak's stats page.) |

SC's defense was absent at that game SC could tie it up, and a matter of seconds later, Lincoln would score again

That we do. If it wasn't for being able to pointstreak, I'd be really lost each game night

I really like Pointstreaking. I've only been a Pointstreaker for the past 2.5 years but it definitely is a great thing. |

I remember when there was no pointstreaking and you had to wait until the following day to see the final scores and who scored. |
