They have always been going to split. Nabokov earns a lot of money and you can't have someone making that much just sitting on the bench. They will unload one as soon as they can, then both will be a #1 somewhere

Yeah, you're probably right...I just thought I read somewhere before the season about Nabokov having to work his way back into the top spot. Anyway, no kidding on the salary, somthing like 5 mil to 1.75, or something like that. |

Before the season started, there was a big rumor about Toskala going to Philadelphia, but that obviously didn't happen. I'm sure there will be a team in need of a goalie somewhere before now and the trade deadline. Anaheim is in the same boat as San Jose with their goalies. |
